Policy Implementation Performance in Developing Countries: The Study of Uganda among East African Countries

This policy paper examines the effectiveness of implementation in developing nations, with a focus on Uganda among East African nations. The performance Uganda's comparison to other nations is highlighted. World Bank's "Country Policy and Institutional Assessment" (CPIA) for year 2021 served as foundation this desk research. One-way analysis was used analysis. results showed that performed better than global indicator. Kenya earned highest mean score three (3.7539683 scale 1 = low 6 high). came first, then (3.4484127), Tanzania (3.5119048). However, inconsequential F statistic there no difference execution between states., i.e., means are equal. There general consensus has strong policies, but appalling. country's average index countries, despite claim it might "hold some water." together few others make up countries; while lower Kenya's, higher Tanzania's.
